Editorial policy

Every Peony Seoul recommendation begins with a reader need, not a commission rate. We assess ingredient information, directions, format, intended skin type, product performance and brand standing before deciding whether an item belongs in a guide.

Research

Product facts come from official brand or retailer materials wherever possible. Scientific or safety claims should be supported by high-quality primary or clinical sources. We do not present marketing language as proven fact.

Testing and experience

We only claim hands-on testing when it has actually occurred and can be documented. Until then, product summaries are clearly editorial assessments based on published information—not personal reviews.

Rankings

Affiliate availability never guarantees inclusion or placement. A strong fit for a specific skin need can outrank a more commercially attractive option.

Updates and corrections

Formulas and availability change. Guides should be reviewed periodically, and material corrections should be made promptly when identified.
